Polyimide Tape
PCB masking and electrical insulation with heat-stable PI film and selected silicone or acrylic adhesive.
CUSTOM INDUSTRIAL TAPE SOLUTION
Build the solution around temperature cycle, residue risk, electrical duty and removal process, rather than specifying only a tape name or nominal thickness.
Quick answer: KAWIN customizes polyimide, high-temperature PET, glass cloth, PTFE and heat-resistant masking. Material selection and converted presentation are aligned to the real component and production process.

CUSTOMIZABLE PRODUCT FORMS
These options share one topic, but solve different engineering tasks. Select the closest form, then confirm the construction against your application.
PCB masking and electrical insulation with heat-stable PI film and selected silicone or acrylic adhesive.
Clean-removal powder-coating, plating and process masking where color visibility and film stiffness help.
Abrasion-resistant heat insulation and reinforcement for coils, harnesses and industrial processing.
Low-friction release, heat sealing and non-stick processing surfaces.
Crepe, washi and specialty paper constructions for painting and process protection.
Discs, donuts, plugs, tabs and complex masks supplied on liner, roll or sheet.
CONFIGURABLE PARAMETERS
The quotation becomes meaningful only when the critical construction and delivery variables are known.
APPLICATION-LED SELECTION
Use these scenarios to identify which details should be tested first.
Peak temperature, dwell time, flux exposure and residue limit determine PI adhesive and thickness.
Bake cycle, grounding, edge definition and removal temperature influence PET or paper masking choice.
Temperature class and dielectric duty may require PI, glass cloth or composite construction.
PTFE surface, backing reinforcement and silicone adhesive are evaluated together.

CUSTOM HIGH-TEMPERATURE TAPE FAQ
Temperature alone does not define a high-temperature tape. These questions clarify the actual thermal process.
Polyimide is commonly selected for thin electrical insulation and PCB masking, high-temperature PET for dimensional stability in suitable process windows, glass cloth for reinforcement and abrasion resistance, and PTFE for release and low-friction applications. The adhesive and total construction must also match the process.
Provide both the continuous service temperature and the peak temperature, together with exposure duration, number of cycles, heating method, pressure and cooling conditions. A short processing peak and long-term thermal aging are different requirements.
Selection should consider surface cleanliness, adhesive chemistry, application pressure, dwell time, thermal expansion and removal temperature. Testing should reproduce the real heating cycle and removal direction because a generic temperature rating does not predict clean removal.
Yes. It can be slit to narrow widths or converted into discs, frames, tabs, plugs and kiss-cut roll parts. The drawing should identify masked and exposed areas, tolerances, liner configuration, roll direction and handling method.
Send the substrate, dimensions, service conditions and estimated quantity. We will identify the missing variables before proposing a construction.
