ONE MANUFACTURING PARTNER

Every layer, dimension and delivery format can be configured.

Tell us what the tape must bond, withstand and fit. Our team translates those conditions into material options, samples and a scalable manufacturing specification.

Start here: If you know the tape family, select it below. If you only know the job, filter by function, construction and operating condition. If no listed family fits, send the application details—we can evaluate a new construction or a converted format.

CUSTOM TAPE PRODUCT FINDER

Find the industrial tape family closest to your requirement.

Start with the job the tape must perform. The filters narrow the most relevant families; each family can then be customized by material, adhesive, dimensions and delivery format.

STANDARD TAPE OR CUSTOM TAPE?

Request customization when the application—not the catalog—sets the specification.

Review my requirement

A standard tape may be enough when…

  • The material, width and roll length already fit your process.
  • The surfaces and operating conditions are well understood.
  • No special liner, shape, print or packaging is required.

Custom tape is useful when…

  • Existing tape lifts, leaves residue, tears or fails under heat, load or exposure.
  • You need a nonstandard width, thickness, liner, roll length or adhesive balance.
  • A die-cut shape, tab, sheet, spool or automation-ready presentation saves assembly time.
  • Your product requires controlled specifications, OEM branding or repeat-volume packaging.

HOW TO CHOOSE A CUSTOM TAPE

Start with the failure risk—not only the tape name.

A useful specification explains what must be bonded, protected, insulated, transferred or removed. These factors determine whether an existing tape can be converted or a different construction is needed.

Decision factorWhat to provideWhy it changes the tape
Substrate & surface energyMetal, glass, PC, ABS, PP, PE, silicone, paint or powder coatControls adhesive chemistry, primer needs and achievable wet-out.
Load & bond geometryPeel, shear, cleavage, static load, impact and available bond areaControls foam density, thickness, carrier strength and adhesive coat weight.
Temperature profileApplication temperature, continuous service and short heat cyclesControls adhesive family, backing stability and clean-removal behavior.
EnvironmentUV, moisture, chemicals, vibration, dust and outdoor exposureControls aging resistance, sealing and protective construction.
Assembly processManual or automatic use, line speed, liner removal and dispensing formatControls roll format, liner stiffness, tabs, pitch and die-cut presentation.

CONFIGURABLE CONSTRUCTION

Build the tape from the application outward.

Final material selection is confirmed after substrate and process review.

CarrierPET, PI, tissue, foam, film, foil, cloth, fiberglass or transfer construction

Release systemPaper or film liner, single or double liner, finger-lift tab and printed liner options

CUSTOM TAPE FAQ

Before you request a sample

Can you match or replace an existing tape sample?+

We can review the sample, construction, dimensions and required performance, then propose a comparable specification or an application-focused alternative. Final suitability should be validated on the actual parts and process.

What information is required for a custom tape quotation?+

Start with the application, surfaces, dimensions or drawing, operating conditions, order quantity, destination and any critical performance target. A current sample or part photo is also useful.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom adhesive tape?+

Minimum quantity depends on the base material, coating or laminating requirement, slit width, die-cut tooling and packaging. Share the trial and annual volume so we can confirm a practical production route.

Can you make prototypes before mass production?+

Prototype and sample options depend on material availability, geometry, tolerances and the intended production method. For die-cut parts, a drawing with dimensions and tolerances helps determine the correct sampling process.

How do you select the right adhesive?+

Adhesive selection begins with the substrate surface, load direction, application temperature, service temperature and exposure to UV, moisture or chemicals. Assembly speed, repositionability and removal requirements also affect the choice.

Can the tape be supplied for automated assembly?+

Yes. Depending on the part and equipment, options can include slit rolls, spools, sheets, kiss-cut parts, waste removal, tabs, controlled pitch and liner configurations suited to dispensing.

Do you support private-label and OEM packaging?+

Yes. Core printing, labels, bags, cartons, master-carton markings and printed liners can be configured subject to quantity, artwork and production review.
